2nd Annual Buffalo Golf Outing Brings Western New York Community Together in Support of MMRI

Buffalo Golf 2025 Winners

The second annual Buffalo Golf Outing was a tremendous success, thanks to the incredible support and enthusiasm of Robert A. Hewson, DPM, chairman & past president of the MMRI board of directors.

Held under clear skies, golfers, sponsors and supporters enthusiastically gathered and united in a shared commitment to advancing medical research.

The tournament not only raised funds for vital research but also helped expand awareness of MMRI’s mission throughout the Buffalo region. Attendees enjoyed a fun-filled day on the course, with every participant walking away with a prize.

The event connected both Masonic and non-Masonic communities, deepening engagement with MMRI’s work. The outing also sparked interest in the Institute’s 1958 Club, a donor circle dedicated to supporting life-saving research in heart, brain, and autoimmune health.

Sponsors of the event included several local lodges, including Western Star, Sweet Home, Renaissance and Ancient Landmarks. Their generosity and partnership were essential to making the day possible.

The Buffalo Golf Classic continues to grow in impact, uniting the community rooted in a commitment to living longer and healthier lives.
