Stephen F. Izzo
Principal Development Officer

Bio:

Stephen F. Izzo is the Principal Development Officer, where he works with our supporters in the greater New York City area to inspire gifts that will help grow the mission of the Institute. He has over 15 years of development and non-profit experience, having worked for schools and universities, medical centers, and most recently CCS Fundraising, where he designed and implemented strategy to help various clients achieve their missions and fundraising goals.









Shannon Smith
Development Data Analyst


Bio:

Shannon Smith joins MMRI as our Development Data Analyst, responsible for data integrity, gift processing and acknowledgement letters, reporting, research, data importing and clean up, working with gift officers in prospect research, contributing ideas for fundraising, and reconciliation with finance, just to name a few. Shannon received her BA from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis in history and a MA from Minnesota State University, Mankato in American history with a focus on the Civil War. She has 16 years of experience with Blackbaud/Raisers Edge at educational organizations. “I was drawn to MMRI because of the amazing work that is being done here. Fundraising is a major part of any non-profit reaching their goals and I wanted to be part of the team making those possibilities come true. It is truly a top-notch institution, and I am honored to be a team member,” said Shannon. “In order to be a successful fundraising team, the data needs to be accurate, clean and consistent. I look forward to working with the Development team in increasing giving through prospect research, idea sharing, and detailed reporting that shows ways to improve, what is working, and what can be done to reach higher goals.”  




Anthony Cucci
Fraternal Relations & Development Associate

Bio:

Anthony F. Cucci, Fraternal Relations and Development Associate, graduated from SUNY Delhi with a BBA in Hospitality Management. With 10+ years of experience within the Masonic Fraternity, including being a Senior DeMolay, Anthony brings an excitement and knowledge on the fraternal brotherhood that he effectively pairs with a passion for the Institute’s mission and groundbreaking research. Here at MMRI, Anthony works to spread the message of MMRI throughout the Masonic brotherhood to help build and support MMRI relations. He currently serves as a member of Ziyara Shrine and Oriental Faxton Lodge #224.  








Kayliegh Caruso
Marketing & Communications Associate

Bio:

Kayliegh Caruso is the Marketing & Communications Associate at MMRI. Prior to joining MMRI, Kayliegh worked at the American Heart Association and MetLife with experience in both non-profit event planning and insurance administration. Kayliegh graduated from SUNY Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Information Design with a minor track in Graphic Design and Photography. At MMRI, Kayliegh implements strategic marketing and communications for the Institute using universal branding through digital and print outlets. While offering expertise in graphic design, web management, campaign fundraising, photography, and promotional collateral management.  






Victoria Wenke
Marketing & Communications Assistant

Bio:

Victoria Wenke is MMRI’s Marketing & Communication Assistant. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English from Utica College and she holds an A.A.S from SUNY Herkimer where she majored in Radio/Television Broadcasting. She has previously held internships with C&D Advertising and The Observer Dispatch, both in the Utica area. At MMRI, Victoria composes articles for the newsletters and press releases, manages social media, and continues to develop meaningful relations with MMRI supporters.
